〜kominka翠で特別な和文化体験〜
「浮世絵絵付け体験」のご紹介！
まずは、北関東の名族である結城家に仕えた山川家（侍）にルーツを持つ、築150年を超える古民家『kominka翠（sui）』で建物の歴史や日本の伝統工法などの貴重なお話を専門家から直接聞ける【古民家のヒミツ】を開催します。
その後、歴史ある『kominka翠（sui）』にて江戸時代の大衆文化（たいしゅうぶんか）だった浮世絵の色付けを体験します。「古民家翠と日光東往還」をモチーフとしたオリジナル浮世絵に色付けができる、世界でここでしかできないユニークな体験です。
【Ukiyo-e Woodblock Painting Experience】
First, we will hold “Secrets of the Kominka,” a session where you can hear directly from experts about the history and traditional Japanese construction techniques of Kominka Sui. This stunning residence is over 150 years old and has its roots in the Yamakawa family, samurai who served the Yuki clan—a prominent noble family of Northern Kanto.
Following the talk, you will experience the art of Ukiyo-e coloring within the historic atmosphere of Kominka Sui. Ukiyo-e was the vibrant heart of popular culture during the Edo period. This is a truly unique opportunity—found nowhere else in the world—to color an original Ukiyo-e print featuring the motif of “Kominka Sui and the Nikko Higashi-Okan Road.”
